Content architecture and internal linking
For sites where the content grew one post at a time. We map how your pages link, find the ones nothing points to, settle which page owns which topic, and rebuild each cluster around one strong hub page.

Book an editorial reviewThis one is quoted after a review, so it isn't on the desk.Five years of blogging leaves a shape nobody designed. Posts link to whatever was recent when they were written. Three articles chase the same search and take turns ranking. The service page that ought to collect the authority gets one link, from the menu. This work fixes the shape, not the words: internal linking and site architecture, so every new piece has somewhere sensible to link and fixing keyword cannibalization stays fixed.
One cluster, before and after
Illustrative. A made-up accounting firm's tax-planning posts, not a real client or a real result.
Before
- 18 posts about tax planning, written over four years
- 6 of them with no internal links pointing in
- 3 chasing the same search, taking turns ranking
- The tax-planning service page linked twice, both from the menu
After
- One hub page that sets out the topic and links to every post
- Every post links up to the hub and across to the service page
- The 3 overlapping posts merged into 1, with redirects
- 2 posts with nothing left to say, retired
How we find orphan pages
We list every URL in your sitemap and Search Console, then crawl the site the way a visitor would, following links from the home page. Anything on the first list that the crawl never reaches is an orphan: published, maybe even ranking, but nothing on your own site points to it. Each one gets a verdict. Link it in, merge it, or let it go.
What's included
- A link map for up to 300 URLs
- A hub-page plan: which page leads each cluster
- Orphan pages found and fixed
- Cannibalization pairs resolved, with a redirect map
- Up to 6 hours of us making the changes in your CMS
Not included
- Sites over 300 URLs: quoted in the proposal
- Writing new hub pages from scratch: a pillar guide, 2 slots
- URL migrations and technical SEO
- Ongoing link passes, which come with Cadence 8 (quarterly) and Cadence 14 (monthly)
Who owns the link map?
Nothing here depends on a plugin or a tool of ours. The changes sit in your CMS, and the map, the redirect list and the hub plan pass to you with the final payment.

Questions people ask
Why "from" $1,900, and what does the base price cover?
From $1,900 for a site up to 300 URLs. That includes the link map, the hub plan, orphan fixes, the redirect map and up to 6 hours of us making the changes. Larger sites get a written quote after the review. Extra implementation time is $125 an hour.
How long from kickoff to a finished link map?
It depends on the size of the site, so the delivery date goes in the written proposal before you agree to anything.
Who owns the link map and redirect list once they're delivered?
Both are documents in your shared drive, written so a developer who's never met us can follow them. If the engagement ends before every change is made, we hand over the map and the redirect list as they stand, and your own team or another agency can finish the job from them.
Where does link work stop and something else take over?
Deciding what each page should become is the Content Decay Audit. Rewriting the pages is Content refresh. Planning new clusters from scratch is Content strategy. Migrations and technical SEO aren't part of what we do.
What should we send before you crawl the site?
Search Console viewer access, CMS editor access for the implementation hours, and a list of the pages that make you money. We crawl the public site ourselves.
Think your site has this problem?
Book the review. We'll look at one cluster before the call, so you hear something specific.
